Hi guys

I have just received word from GPAC in Geelong, saying that the gig there on the 11th of November has been cancelled, and will be held some time early next year, but no date has been set yet. I am so disappointed, I was going all the way from NSW to see him, and you wouldn't believe it I just paid for my airfares last night. I just want to to cry right now. Does anyone know how to get from Portland over to Mannum by train/bus? That way I can still see 2 concerts while I am around that way.

This does happen from time to time and it is always a good idea to hold
back on buying flights and accomadation till you have an actual ticket.

Thanks Mikey I know that, It is my mistake. I am just going to now try to go to the Portland gig and Mannum gig. I am not mad with Jimmy or anything, I am just disappointed that's all.

Mikey I have just read on your site that Jimmy is now playing in Ballarat on the 11th of November is this gig confirmed?
It might be a good idea not to post the gig dates and places until they are confirmed.

If I put an unconfermed date up I normaly put (TBC) next to the date,
Geelong was confermed between the Promoter and Premier artists, but as
I said these things change.

Hi Mikey I am sorry and I don't want to cause trouble or upset you but from what I have heard from GPAC the contracts were never signed. Anyway I have made a few phone calls today and the venue Jimmy is playing at in Ballarat is The Woolshed, not the Regent Cinema complex, and from what I was told that is also still a TBC because the promoter has apparently just contacted them about him performing there.

Who did you ring to find out about the Ballarat Show? Was it the Woolshed?

I'm also disappointed about the cancellation of the gig but I guess these things happen.

Oh well, better get onto www.whereis.com.au and find out how I can get to Ballarat and Portland.

Yes I spoke to a guy at the Woolshed. He said they had just received word that Jimmy would be performing there. I rang the Regent Theatre and they said he wasn't performing there and they told me to ring the Woolshed, but then I received an email from The Regent last night, saying that he was performing there, so who knows. It really is anyone's guess. I guess we just have to wait until it is confirmed and tix go on sale now.

Yes we will be having Jimmy Barnes and Adam Brand performing at the Regent Cinema on Tuesday 11th November. Tickets will go on sale mid/late September for this show. Keep an eye out in Saturday's paper as we will advertise when tickets will go on sale through our directory.
