we wanna know what you guys think of John Farnham thanks

John Farnham is a big voice in Australia! great cd's in thee 80's.I specially a big fan of his hit single "you're the voice"!! great tune.
He sang in 1990 a cover of Tom Kimmel: "that's freedom" another hit single!
Remember him when i sang with Richard Marx in 1994
Finally i sang more than one time with Jimmy Barnes

John did a version of When The War Is Over live at the Southern cross Concert, Jimmy as a suprise, walks on
and sings his part, It was the first time they were on stage together, When Jimmy walks on listen to the crowd
go nuts, it gives me goose bumps..

I can't believe I had forgotten about this, talk about goosebumps on your goosebumps, I need to dig out my old videos and have a stroll, or run down memory lane. What a bloody legend he is.

Wow that was awesome!!, correct me if im wrong but wasnt that the concert when jimmy went back to his dressing room and trashed it cos he hated the way his voice sounded, i recall reading that one time after he did a performance with john farnham, i doubt that was it it though cos i reckon he sounded great.

I like John Farnham too. I didnt realise that he was the one who sung the song "Break The Ice" on the movie RAD until it came up on the Anthology series (the red one).

GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME TONIGHT...

I don't like him at all and it's a shame how he murders a great chisel song. Crap.

Unashamedly, I will say I have liked John Farnham since (cant believe I'm gonna admit this)or is that shamefully ..whatever
since "Raindrops were falling on my head "..I was about 12, one of the first singles my parents let me buy..LOL
Later without permission I got Deep purple stuff ha ha ah ..

But seriously he has had a great career, I think he is a brilliant Australian. Great family man . Full stop..
To be honest if they were gonna "knight" someone, I wouldn't care if they "sir John Farnham" first ... before "Sir Jimmy Barnes". Now that would be funny , them too knighted..

The clip of John and Jimmy singing the war is over is great, I haven't seen that one! Talk about blow you away! I like John Farnham as well, but he doesn't bring out the goosebumps that Jimmy does. Actually no one does! Thanks Mikey for the clips. Made my day.
