Mr Barnes had this to say:
"It was meant to be a quiet because of the heart surgery last year but that didn't happen. We started out being really selective with what shows we would book but then the Out In The Blue tour got really busy and I started filming a TV show."
"Obviously Adelaide still has a soft spot for me and I still have a soft spot for Adelaide."
Don't expect a repeat of last years A Say On The Green or the Out of The Blue shows.
"It will be slightly different because the repertoire is so big and the band is a bit different. I want to bring in some new songs and some old favourites as well."
David Campbell has been hired as the artistic director of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2009. Jim has stated that:
"We performed a few Spiegeltent shows in Sydney which went really well and we'd really like to bring them to the Cabaret Festival in Adelaide. It would be absolutley lovely to bring the show there and perhaps close the Festival with it."
I would be thrilled if David could bring Don Walker back for the 2009 Festival.
If he could bring Jim along as well, that would be massive.
