Legendary Australian musician Don Walker's first book, "Shots" will be released on Feb 1st!

Shots: A Memoir Don Walker Black Inc. PB $29.95 2008 All rights: Black Inc. This extraordinary memoir begins with Don Walkers early life in rural NSW and goes up to the late 80s. In mesmerising prose, he evokes childhood recollections, wild times in the 70s, life on the road and in the Cross, music-making and much more. Shots is a stunningly original book, a set of word pictures shots that conjure up the lowlife and backroads of Australia.

(Although the blurb above is correct in mentioing NSW, Don was born in Ayr, Nth QLD. I'm sure the QLD fans reading this would'nt want me to miss that fact! I'm certain he is a Bronco's fan.)

I went into Angus & Robertson and Dymocks today and both of them had received copies of Shots.

They hadn't unpacked them but they will be available to sell from tomorrow. If you are in Adelaide try Angus & Robertson just off the mall, they have more in stock than Dymocks.

For those of you in the burbs or interstate, try your local Dymocks or Angus and Robertson store tomorrow!
