Once again, that was our 3rd time seeing Barnesy, and Jess and I had a fabulous time! it was quiet awesome, and a nice feeling that he remembered who we were! Nice catching up with Sharon and her hubby who we see at gigs now aswell!

Barnesy put on a spectacular show, we were front row and loved every minute of it! (not too sure bout that guitarist, it was Barnesys show, not his, jumping around like a clown LOL)

Id like to say a big fat massive thankyou to Jimmy for acknowledging us a few times, and also for signing my book and our t-shirts. another photo would have been great but we understand you had to run no dramas there!! unfortunatley we wont be able to make it to the Sept 11 palais gig (f***n shattered), but hopefully not to far down the road we'll be at the next one!
You put on one hell of a show and we loved every second of it.

Hi there, I "jump around like a clown" coz playing rock 'n roll music enthuses me, especially when playing with Jimmy. It's my natural reaction to do so when I got a geetar strapped on making an almighty racket playing great songs with a great band, and I do find it hard to "curb my enthusiam", to quote the great Larry David.

It would be stupid of me to think that I'd draw attention from Jimmy by jumping around, he's the frontman, they're his songs and it's his name on the billboard. I just get excited is all!

I'll try my best to remain stood on the spot for the entire show from now on (joking!)...

I am sorry girls I have to totally disagree with you both. Davey is an amazing enigma on stage and hey if the mood takes to "show off" a bit by jumping around or even off the stage into the face of us "front rowers" last night he should go for it. I for one thought it was awesome when he played in front of us on the floor, it took the gig to another level for me.

Davey I absolutely love your stage presence so please don't stop what you do . It is always a huge part of the gig to see what you will do on stage. I have so many awesome vids and pics of your antics, they are awesome!!

Also, thanks for for your amazing set with your band The Pictures last night, it was AWESOME!!!

Good meeting you and Jess as well, also other fans. Was another great night, apart from that drunk getting me to dance with him. Gave Davey a good laugh. Did you see that? Was the drunk that jumped on stage towards the end when Jimmy was singing Goodbye and it was goodbye to him, as they quickly removed him form stage. (dickhead) Sorry Lauren, but the guitaist is Davey Lane.I think having guitarist's just standing still would be a bit boring. Every little bit extra adds something special to the show. But everyone is entitled to their opinion and we think he is great. Also no harm in having that opinion and good to see that Davey has explained. That's one good thing about this message board. We were front row last night and it was a front row which was good. As a lot of people do like to get up and jump around. Makes it hard for me in my position to see. So I want to do a big thank you to Macca who helped me out there. I was able to see and the people that wanted to jump around could jump around behind me. Thanks again Macca. Night started off with Davey Lane's band The Pictures and I thought they were very entertaining, heaps better than the support band last time there. Did miss Mahalia not being there, but she has something exciting planned. Jimmy opened the night with Driving Wheels. Was a similar set list to the Palais but someone will put set list on later. Must say this tour is worth seeing again and again. Which is the reason I am going to The Palais again.

I believe that the current tour is one of the best...great song selection (no walk on though!!) and Davey has provided a lot of entertainment, a truly fantastic musician. Many of us love the windmalls, scissor kicks and onstage antics which show me that he is truly enjoying what he is doing.
Cant wait for the nxt couple of gigs.

Don't ever stop what you are doing Davey, you are awesome!! You bring so much energy to the stage and those scissor kicks and windmill arms - love them. So glad to have The Pictures as support, always a great show (love I'm Safe) This tour is one of the best, bring on Adelaide and the rest!!!!

I love watching Davey and his antics on stage. I reckon it would be the biggest rush ever to stand on stage with Jimmy and the awesome band that he has. I could think of nothing better than being extraordinarily talented, doing what you love for a job and having anything up to 100,000 people (sometimes more) going off to the best songs of our era! Im not sucking up to anyone but I know how I felt when I was lucky enough to meet Jimmy and family at a gig in Mittagong let alone being entrusted to perform to the highest standard possible as Jimmy commands.

Anyway, I'm going back to my guitar which I have had for three weeks now to keep learning...who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks!
