Wow!! Another awesome weekend of gigs. Chloe and I left home at 9am Friday trudging off to Mudgee for the first of our weekend gigs.

We made awesome time and were in Mudgee by lunch time. We went and collected our tix and just wondered around this little Western NSW town that seemed to be frozen in time.

We arrived at the resort at about 6pm to get ready for the gig. We met up with Jackie, Davey, Darren Percival, Punchie and Shauna and had a bit of a chat, and also Elly (love the new hat by the way) happy.gif

We met some great people while we were waiting, funnily enough though there wasn't many people from Mudgee there. We met some really nice ladies from just the other side of Dubbo, sorry can't remember their names. I hope you guys had a safe trip back home.

We also met Sandra and Carol from Wellington. These girls were just the life of the party all night, talk about laugh they had us all in stitches including Jimmy!!! hahaha

The crowd was growing bigger and bigger by the minute and at about 7:15 they decided to open the doors a bit early, maybe they thought they could contain the crowd better inside then out lol happy.gif

The resort was a bit small but well set out. The stage was tiny haha. When Jimmy came in to get ready for the gig, he had to clamber over the stage and speakers to get through lol happy.gif As you can imagine every went wild when they caught a glimpse of Jimmy going through.

The support band was called Stone Parade. They are a young band from Sydney and they were really good. They did a few originals and then did Don't Change an old INXS song which really got the crowd pumped up.

About 8:50 THE MAN took the stage. Everyone went absolutely wild!!! As in Sydney he started with Driving Wheels, which is such an awesome party starter song. I will put the entire set list at the end lol happy.gif Jimmy was in fine form tonight, rocking Mudgee to the ground.

Jimmy did the same sort of set as at The Enmore and Ballarat, but a few different changes as well. The first set ended with Khe Sanh which left us all begging for more.

Then after a short break Jimmy took the stage again accompanied by Victor which was so awesome, I loved seeing him in Sydney, but unfortunately he didn't go to Ballarat. Jimmy did Catch your shadow, 2 hearts collide, Flame trees and Still on your side with the harp. It was so mesmerising.

Then the deboinnaire Mr Percival took the stage with Jimmy and they played a stripped back version of When the war is over. Darren is an amazing singer, it was an awesome treat to see him singing with Jimmy again.

Then after blowing everyone away with the acoustic songs it was time to rock it out again starting with the first single from the new album it really is a Red Hot song I LOVE IT!!!

Jimmy did a huge set tonight, finishing off with Working Class Man and Goodbye.

We walked out on a high, as usual!!! I got some awesome pics and videos which I will post in a couple of days, having a few minor 'puter issues, so can't upload all the pics right now, sorry.

Also got my posters signed thanks again Jackie.

Cheers and Take care
