After an awesome show on Friday night in Mudgee, we headed off nice and early to got to Narrabri, the next stop of our wild cross country weekend.
Again we did pretty good time, it only took just over 3 hours to drive from Mudgee to Narrabri.
We arrived in Narrabri at about 12:30 and went to pick up our tix. While we were at the theatre we ran into Mick, so we stood and had a chat for a while and gave him a couple of bits and pieces to get signed, save the rush later lol

. So we left my tea towel and an old record in Mick's safe hands and went off to discover Narrabri.
It is a cute little town and everyone was really friendly. It was funny though to be waling down the main street mid afternoon and there is only a handful of shops open.
We went and got ready for the gig early, so we could avoid the rsuh of people later on. There was a lot more people waiting to get in early tonight.
The doors opened at 7:00 and we made our way to the front of the stage. We met up with Dazza and Mel and Cold and Chisel (sorry guys I am bad with names lol

) You will remember us, we are the crazy girls from Newcastle haha. Dazza it was great to have a natter with you, you are a real character. I hope to see you guys at another gig soon.
Stone Parade was doing support again tonight. They really are a talented bunch of boys and I wish them all the best I reckon they will make it big.
Jimmy stood just off the side of the stage while Stone Parade were playing looking on approvingly
Jimmy took the stage at just after 8:45 tonight, starting off again with Driving Wheels. For the second song of the night, Jimmy turned it all up a bit and did Time Will tell from the Love and Fear album. It's an awesome song, I love it!!!
Jimmy and the band were in an awesome mood tonight, all ready to rock, it was just awesome. Mudgee on Friday night was an amazing gig, but I personally think Saturday at Narrabri was just a slightly better show.
Jimmy rocked it out huge time in the first set ending with Merry go Round. Apart from nearly having a heart attack from jumping around so much, (I can't stay still when Merry Go Round is on lol)

I was totally pumped for the second set to start.
The second set started with Jimmy, Jackie, Victor with the harp again and another special guest Laurie who played a slide bar (probably the wrong name of the instrument, but when I put the vids up someone can let me know what the right name of it is).
Jimmy could just sing Catch your shadow all night, and I would be a happy girl lol

. Just the emotion in him when he sings it nearly flaws me.
Darren sung When the War is over again tonight and I got some awesome photos of him and Jimmy together, which again I will upload once my 'puter starts being nice again hahaha.
Jimmy put on another amazing set tonight, with a slightly longer show then in Mudgee.
I just can't get enough of the songs he is singing on this tour, he has really dug deep and put an awesome set together.
The night finished off again with Working Class Man and Goodbye featuring Laurie again which was really cool.
I can't wait til Friday when Rhythm and the Blues is released, it is going to be a smash hit for sure!!!
Oh yeah, Mick we got home to Newcastle safely

Thanks for letting us follow you to Tamworth so we didn't get get lost in the Aussie wilderness hahaha
Cheers and take Care all!!
