I must admit that even though i really enjoy Jimmy's music both with Cold Chisel & in solo mode i can count the amount of times i have seen him live on one hand.
But that's not to say that i dont appreciate what he does it's just that these day's i very rarely go out & hit the town like i used to.
When i think of the devastation i felt when Cold Chisel broke up little did i know that Jimmy would go on to bigger & better things.
So my favourite Barnesy moment would definately be seeing his first band kick arse at some RSL club out west somewhere.
Even though he has played more prominent gigs since then the raw energy of seeing that band in full swing with Jimmy out front doing what he does best will never be forgotten.
Very special memories.

yeh nothing beats seeing jimmy live but as a teenager alot of my faveourite jimmy moments was when he appeared on hey hey its saturday, there was one appearance he made back in 93 when he performed stand up and clearly jim has had a few drinks before going on and when the song is over he just turned to the crowd and let off a loud scream lol and then when daryl was talking to him jim was grabbing ossie around the neck it was so funny
