And, Toulouse, I will try your method. I hate putting the syringe down his throat as he just goes crazy when I do. I may end up wearing the antibiotic (it's pink and sticky and smells like candy) but it's worth a try.
Goldy still has a small scab so can't go in the pond until that becomes skin. He's been confined for 2 weeks and I can't wait for him to get out. Since JoJo's gang is in the big cage, Goldy has to be in a 5' x 3' cage and I hate that. I'm tempted to put him in with the other guys but am afraid he may injure JoJo some more. Goldy is very high strung and JoJo still moves a bit slow. I put the cages side by side so they can all chat. The others who are confined are Roz, JoJo's wife, who is just there to be with him, and Percy the new duck. Percy is doing well, is getting used to ducks.
