Doesn't anyone knit anymore?????

All I was looking for was three sets of double points--sizes 1, 2, and 3.  Could I find them?  Only at one store where they were over $6 per set.  I will have to go back there, though, because no one else carries them.

What kind of society doesn't even let you find the supplies so you can do things yourself?
