Water pipe busted last night for the 2nd time...No water.

Have to go to final soccer playoffs today at 8 and won't get home till way after dark  Another wasted day...Can't fix the pipe first....so no water or coffee or anything till tomorrow...

Vw up on jacks cant get tire off, stripped lug nuts...and other things just too numerous to put down... I am sinking fast....Too many things, not enouth time, money,  or help

I'm so tired of this stinkin' rain!!!!    Pens are wet, stinky and slippery. Chickens, turkeys and pheasants are sneezing. Put the pheasants in a new pen with their shelter being in one end of the big chicken house. Fine. Then yours truly forgot to latch the gate between their side and the laying hen's side. So today in the rain I'm netting 13 fast and wet pheasants in a slippery sloping pen with chickens getting in the way. Not a happy camper.        Wish I was a duck.  My wandering Canada never showed up, another Canada just fell over dead in the yard. Don't know what happened. He was fine one minute and dead the next. My only blue silkie hen died and I've got 3 cases of fowl pox in the Welsummer pen. Lost all 3 of them.       Have vaccinated the rest.  Suzy the older Great Pyr stepped on a huge treble hook which went all the way through her foot. Had to get a bolt cutters to get it out. $200+ vet bill on that one. The Great Pyr pup got half of a hickory nut imbedded in her upper gum. Another trip to the vet and a $127 bill including meds.If this crap doesn't end pretty soon, I'll be ready for the loony bin.

I guess when it rains it poors and it sure has been doing that...At least it is not snow like the north is getting...If it was i would go out there and lay in it and just pass away...

I guess we are going to the loony bin together...

need to look on the bright side....You tell me where it is and I will look...LOL

Weather man says we might see the sun briefly today.  Temps are headed for 70* too.   Then what really made my day was the 9 yr. old foster son.  We were talking about getting the tree up and he asked if we put an angel on the top.  I said no, that we had a lighted star ornament.  He replied that I could be at the top of the tree because I'm an angel.  Now wasn't that sweet?

you know sometimes it is just the littlest thing that can keep us going for one more day... and sometimes it is the littlest thing that can send us around the bend...LOL

funny how it is the LITTLE things that do things to us...Good and bad...

Yes sun out all day today but still cold got a north wind up and it was awful...Tony is finally gone to Corpus for the state finals and I have two days to my self...How wonderful...Peace and quite...

Time to get his christmas done and wrapped so that he won't be able to mess around with it...and maybe put some lights around the geese pen...double purpose...light for the geese and pretty for the yard.
