Likely Lads left me a car to sell on their behalf - they wanted $150.  It wasn't legal so I spent a couple of hundred on the old Datsun and got all the certificates etc.  Now I hope to get $1171 ($1 for every cc), or at least $1000.

What a bunch of tyre kickers I have had to look at it!!!!! I put For Sale notices in all the BackPackers hoping to sell it to a tourist travelling around.  The first girl liked it but didn't look at it in daylight and changed her mind, the second potential buyers were an older English couple (Winging Poms!) who took it for a test drive for an hour and then said they had to test for overheating and that the engine was clapped out as it didn't go up hills easily (I DID point out it was only a tiny engine. WHAT WERE THEY DOING? Going up steep hills in 4th gear????)

Last night I had a couple of German chickybabes who thought the car was "wobbly" and was worried it wouldn't handle the "bad South Island roads". GO BACK TO YOUR AUTOBAHNS!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, with all the interest I will hold out for $1000. And in the meantime it is cheaper to run than my old classic Chrysler Valiant 265ci (4300cc).

The German chickybabes came back and looked at the car again.........and offered $800 cash.  Stuck my ground and got $900.

Earlier in the evening I had a phone call from a young English couple who are staying at a backpackers down the valley.  They needed a car because their $700 roughy was stolen last night. Not only did I let them test drive my car, but I came with them and drove up the Maitai Valley (a boyracer favourite) to look for the dumped car. She was upset because her teddybear was in the car that she had owned since birth! We spent a couple of hours looking for their car (assuming the police HADN"T sent a team of detectives out investigating the crime) but no go.  At least I restored their faith in NZ people and they would buy the car if their one didn't turn up in a few days.

BUT I sold it that night anyway!!!!!!!

now we americans , so far i was told by germans they hate us,england looks down on us, but they look down on everyone.asians think were crude.I think they go by the rich and tv.they both are not good examples of us.I worked for many years at a station where tourists stoped and made many friends even had a couple that left me some green crystals,and a note saying i was a good guy and had helped aliens unknowen. dooo dooo do do do........  if we were neighbors you would no doubt lock me in a closet to stop asking you to talk.i love to hear and learn about others. I kept a english man and irish woman for over an hour just chatting.later i sent her some seeds yucca lol.
