I try and be nice on the Poultry Connection, and someone shows up and starts accusing me of being a troll. I would just love it if that forum was deleted...PERMANTLY! All those people are nasty, sick'os, and I will have nothing to do with them.

we all feel like you do and that is why we are here. There are many things I actually like though about the other forum. I like the way it is organized and also I like the fact that you can get sensible advice from a handful of people there that seem to pretty knowledgable.

I agree that it can be rather mean spirited and not welcoming to outsiders and their different views, but it does serve an important purpose inthe whole scheme of things. Be thankful that the no nonsense types who simply want to do everything "by the book" have a forum they can go to for advice. Imagine if they did not and had to guess about things all the time. That wouldn't be good for their waterfowl. That is why it does not bother me that they exist. The existence of that cantankerous board has helped a lot of ducks and geese.

We've all gotten squashed there at one time or another. It's hard when it happens. Feel free to join us here or enjoy the forum you've started.

I'm impressed that you noticed the flame board and used it for venting! Most of us forget it's here I think and so sometimes we rant a bit in the wrong place. It's great to have these posts in a separate place.

Hi I'm new here to the waterfowl forum but I visit several poultry forums and it seems there is always some argumentive, know-it-alls or touchy types....but theres always gonna be those types no matter where you go. I think some of the people on "The Coop" are pretty curt and unfriendly. Needless to say, I don't go there anymore.

The forums I like best are 2 new ones I have been going to and they both have a nice feel (so far):
