Mini Bear 101

I painted lines on the wood showing about where the cuts will be made for this inch and a tad tall Bear.
The last step I couldn't get a piccy of as I hold the bear in my hand and touch it to the TIP (the tip only) of the 8 inch dime bar rigged with GB 1/4 chain connected to the smooooth running 377 Shindaiwa and grind the sides and back of the Bear down a little.


In the above pic the cut is being made to define the Bears ears. The screwdriver is pointing to a double wide cut, the cut on the left sets where the ears will be, the cut on the right seperates the ears from the log, lenght wise.

In the above pic I burned the wood slightly to help define the cuts that have been made.

Above shows the plunge cut that was made to remove the Bear.

******CAUTION******
Take it easy with the torch, these guys BBQ easily!
