That is comming along very well. Can't wait to see the completed job. I think I know what it is but I hate to be wrong so I won't say.
Keep up the good work.
See you in Ridgway 2003.
I'll be the tall guy with the gray beard with a cute little southern girl hanging close to me (trying to stay warm).

those gator critters still seem menacing..lol..nice carving wayne (you do a lot of nice carvings). i didn't realize from other pics how much taller you are than lynn..lol..you should either sit down for photos or carve her a little step up so you are closer together in shot. i guess they use to do that in movies a lot. i like all the little stuff you've been carving also. you are way talented and motivated and a good example for new carvers like myself. thanks for sharing.

I think she was downhill

These show our real size, I'm still just a tad taller than Lynn.
Top photo was taken 09-11-02 at Wally World, Vidalia GA.
Lower photo was taken back in June 2002 while doing the show for Jim Fowler, former star of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. We carved that little Gator in 8 minutes, it's a wonder as we were still using Stihl's, that's probably a 3 or 4 minute carve with a Shindaiwa using GB Bars.

mutual of ohmaha's wild kingdom..too much..lol..i use to watch that show all the time. with the old guy. what was his name? that was one of my favorite shows. i still remember the anaconda wrestling in the river and i think it was jim that came and saved the day by tying a rope from a horse to the snake and saving poor old (was it marlin?). thats very cool. i see you carve a lot of gators (or are they crocs?). did you see the thing in national geographic where they found the bones of giant gator and rebuilt it with a big clay model. looked awesome and the stuff nightmares are made outta..lol
