Dennis did this totem a few weeks ago, near Cleveland
I just took the last pix the other day without the scaffoling up...

this pix is from the local news paper.....

this tree was 26ft. before Dennis started, then he cut off 6ft. for the wings...I brought him a 2ft. peice of white cedar for the beak....

it started to rain in the late afternoon, so we had to put a tarp over everything......then it starded to get dark when we were cleaning up....

these are the pix I took the other day... the home owner was very happy... he took Dennis and me out to dinner that night after we finished... got to talking at dinner and turned out I went to high school with his younger brother, and he went to school with my older brother... and the place where the totem was carved I used to squrrel hunt when I was a kid, before the property was developed... "small world ahe" .... Don....

<pix restored>
