Lynn and I just completed this 16 foot totem pole at the Bert Adams Boy Scout Camp near Covington GA. The pole will be displayed at a new 4000 seat ampitheater still under construction. It is estimated that the completion of the job will be in about two months, so, we won't have a standing up pic untill then.
There was about 12 ft of stump left over from the job, Park Ranger David Barron suggested that he may like to purchase one of our GB Carving Bars and some of our 1/4 pitch chain and make a checker board/chess table bench with a section of the stump. Well, Ranger David went on vacation and we had a few extra monents so we whipped this one out for Ranger David to use as a go by. There is still plenty of stump left for him to carve on.
Both pieces are 100% chainsaw carved.
