Sorry for the delay on posting some pix from the Confluence Lion Club Carving Fest, but I've been on the go for over a month, plus my computer has been down and I havent been home long enough to fix it...
I have hundreds of pictures and as soon as I get around to them I'll be posting them...
If anyone has any question about the Carving Fest or want to see any particular pix let me know and I'll try to take care of it for you...
Now for the Judging, We 4 Judges for the Sponserd Quick Carve " all were Visualy Impared"...
Rob Stemple from the Sumerset County Blind Center was in charge of the judging, and to watch them See with their hands was something to See "you just had to be there to see it"
The Winners of the Quick Carve were:
1st place.. Dennis Beach... attacking eagle
2nd place.. Shelly Upole... bears in a log
3rd place.. Dave Ferguson.. welcome bear holding a lantern... and all the judges were able to read the welcome sign, "AMAZING" ...
I'll post the pix of the carvings as soon as I can find them ???
I sure hope everyone had as much FUN as I did, I know I had FUN because I havent slept for over a month...
Things are already in the works for next year same time same weekend next year "Fathers Day Weekend"
