I have been working on this carving for a few days now. It was a carving I saw that had been done in stone a long time ago by a native of new york. I liked it so well that I had to do it in wood. I first offer tobacco to the spirit of the wood and ask that it work with me, Then offer to the spirit of the artest that did the first one and ask that they guide my hands and saw as I carve to do them honer. This is what I have so far.
Now I ask the artest to give me the meaning of the carving, From what I got its quite a story. If you look deep into the carving you will start to see all kinda things jumping out at you. This has got to be the neatest one I have done so far
