Ok so Ive done all the research, practiced my tools and saw, selected my log, and decided what my first chainsaw carving would be. Ive decided to do a carving of a bear cub on all fours. I realize that alot of beginers choose to do the typical standing bear with welcome sign but I find that I would prefer a little uniqueness in my sculptures. What do you prefer when chainsaw carving? Ive also noticed that fish are really popular. Anyway I would be happy to hear all of your opinions!
