My loud and hyper two-year-old niece was over while I was trying to watch, so I'll try my best.

Helen started work as a travel agent. Nancy told Helen that one of the perks of working there is that they can dine at expensive restaurants for free. They suggest the the restaurants to clients and the restaurants owners offer them free dining. At the end of the show, Helen and Jack have a nice dinner to them themselves without the kids.

Henry and his family ended up not moving into the new place because they can't afford it.
The doctors say they can't do anything for Gwen's cancer except to prescribe something for the pain.

Sam went to Nathan's friend and wants to sell drugs to help pay for his mom's pain pills. He told the guy not to tell Nathan, but Nathan found Sam on the street, beat him up a little and told him he didn't want him involved with selling drugs.

JJ got into a fight with the punk sqaud leader when he made comments about JJ's "Cracker Jack box" ring for Beth and about whether or not Beth could stay faithful to JJ while he's away.
Beth went to visit JJ.

Meg had to write a book report and Drew suggested "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". The school said it wasn't acceptable reading material for the students. Jack felt the same way so he hid the book in the garage. Patty found it and gave it to Meg; only if she's let Patty read it after she's finished. Meg told Drew about it and he said she should write it anyway. They'd change their minds once they saw the report. Meg read it, wrote the report, turned it in and they wouldn't accept it. Meg and Drew kissed in the rain under an umbrella.

Roxanne met a crew member of "American Bandstand" about her age. He's kind of nerdy and she wasn't interested in him until he told her that he was in a band. Then they start making out. Later, he invited Roxanne and Meg to hear him and his band play. They weren't bad either; I liked them.

At the end, a girl in Beth's dorm is singing and playing an acoustic version of a Beatles song; I don't know which one, but it was pretty. We see a montage of different characters in their situations. It ends with the Walker family gathered around the kitchen table with Henry and Gwen telling the kids the severity of their mom's cancer. We don't hear dialogue (it's still the girl singing), but we see their reactions and everyone's crying. Really sad.
