As usual, CBS won the 7-9 p.m. block with its combination of 60 Minutes (#1: 9.8/16) and Cold Case (#1 for the evening: 11.7/17) 67 percent, on average, above NBC's Dateline (#2: 6.9/11) and the already renewed American Dreams (5.9/ 9). Third in the 7 p.m. hour was America's Funniest Home Videos on ABC (5.5/ 9) followed by Fox comedies King of the Hill (4.0/ 7) and Oliver Beene (3.7/ 6), and a repeat of Smallville: Beginnings on the WB (2.4/ 4).
