Mediaweek.com:
On NBC, it's obvious at this point that drama American Dreams (#4: 5.6/ 8; A18-49: #4, 2.4/ 5) will never find a large audience, while part one of theatrical, The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, on the WB averaged a modest 3.8/ 5 in the overnights, 4.41 million viewers and a 1.7/ 4 among adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m.

I hope the small core audience is enough to keep it around, at least for this whole season. Last night's episode was so sad, but good. I was so glad Meg skipped her war rally. |

and even if it does not have a large fam base at least the base is loyal.
If only NBC would show more ads for the AD, I only see them advertize it durning days of our lives and that is it. Never once durning the nascar races on NBC, see all kinds for crossing jordan and the 10 o'clock show (can't remember the name) but NEVER ONCE have I seen an AD ad spot. Not even for the premire!
Is it true that the show almost did not get picked up again for this year?
I heard it was touch and go and the cast did not even know till the last minute. |

I read on a website that the premiere episode had like 8.6 million viewers and then it went down to 6 million by like the 3rd or 4th episode and now its up to 7.6 million. (Its highest ratings since the 2nd episode) So hopefully the ratings will continue to increase! |
