I live in the southern hills near Rome, the most famous towns that are on them are are Frascati,Albano,etc., known in Italy with the name of "Castelli Romani". The name of my little city is San Cesareo 'cause in this town there was one of Giulius Caesar's Villas! In fact I'm a patritian, a direct descendant of him!! (with pedegree!!);
My age isn't important because I'm immortal! but now I'm 19 years old! hooooooo wow, my best friend has just arrived!

Hy guys.. i'm Valerio Bianchi and i'm 19!(too old ^^).I have a passion for Information Technology and for that reason i have attended a course for Webmaster and Webdesigner.I live in San Cesareo (near Colleferro - the city of my school- and also near Rome -about ten minutes by car-).If I ever finish this school,probably i'll take Information Technology Egineering at the University.
I think that this way to make school is very useful because it's very close to a working group style.I hope that this project will continue without problem.See you soon... Byezzzzzz

The name of our town is Colleferro, near Rome in the center of Italy.It is a very young and nice town. It was born beetwen the first and the second World War, it's an industrial town with about 25000 inhabitants.
Colleferro plays an important role in the building of the propeller of Arianne rocket, do you know "Arianne"?
Arianne is the European rocket that launches the satellites into the space .
Now we tell you about our class:we are 15 students,me and Fabrizio are .....the best in the class and in the world(we are modest)!

I attend the 5th year of high school in a course that is called technological/scientific.When I finish this school I'll go to university,probably in the chemistry,or in informatiion technology courses.
I have beeb a member of the Scout for 8 years,my hobbies are, model-making,fantasy,playing with computer(expecially with rpg),playing football,etc.
My favourite book is "the lord of the rings" by JRR Tokien,that's a typical book of fantasy,the best.
I listen to all types of music, except metal music.

I'm your new Italian friend Maurizio,
my school is called "I.T.I.S. Cannizzaro ". I'ts a tecnique institute, but I'm attending a scientific liceum here( V A LST).
My class is composed of fourteen boys and a girl called Marilena.
Do you know Roma ? I live in a small town near the capital of Italy. I'm one of the 600 inhabitants of Gorga, this is its name.
My big passion , as a normal italian boy, is football and my favourite team is the big Inter football club ( do you know Vieri,Toldo,Zanetti … ?). I played fotball, but during last year I had a big problem at the rigth knee and after that I finished to play football !
I like listening to music, but I haven't got a particular type of favourite music. I often listen to Italian and sometimes American commerial music ( Renato Zero, Articolo 31, Ligabue…..). Another big passion is the Ferrari . I watch the challenges among mc Claren, Williams and the team of Maranello.
Certainly you know Michael Schumacher or Barrichello , dont't you?
Moreover , I read many books (and the topics of them are politics , history , thriller and science ) and I like going out with my friends

I'm one of DANIELA IANNI's students from "itis cannizzaro".I read "brave new world" last week (in the italian version, of course) and since the beginning of the school year, with our "great" teacher, i and my friends have been readin the English version. I like to reading this "strange" stories about future and utopian worlds (like "1984", "farenheit 451", "animal farm", ecc..), and i like to discover the messages that the authors want to give to the society, by metaphores, and allegory. But i want only realize the message and i don't want to decide if the political opinion of the author is fair or erroneous;
i think that it isn't my task.so i like change a few words about this book of huxley with someone in this forum! if you want write to me back!!!

How are you?
We are Tabea, Rebecca and Martin from the Humboldtgymnasium in Solingen/Germany. Solingen is near Cologne.
We are all 17 and we try to finish school 2004.
We 3 are very different. Tabea is very interested in riding horses, but she also likes to go out with her friends.
Rebecca likes to do sports. Her favourite sport is athletics, but she also likes to play soccer at school with 22 boys and 4 girls. But she also likes to call her friends and go out with them.
Martin is interested in sports, too, but he doesn't prefer soccer. He likes handball and basketball and badminton better.
We just read the book "Brave New World", but Martin did not understand the ending. Can anyone explain it to him? The topic of the book was quiet interesting and up to date, but normally we read books with other topics apart from Martin who likes the topic.
We are looking forward to working with you!

Like everybody else in our class we are looking forward to our projekt about " Brave New World".
We had to read that book during our automn holidays. That was no fun. But of course we did it.

We like all kinds of sports, especially handball, downhill (mountainbike), volleyball.

---and OF COURSE we know your national soccer team.
But Germany made the 2nd place at
world-championchip in Japan and Southern Corea.


Let's make this project be more fun than " Brave New World " is.

Hi, my name is Katta and in our group we made the decision to introduce each other.
I want to introduce my right neighbour. Her real name is Leonie in the internet she is Loenne.She is eighteen years old and in my class. Leonie lives in Solingen, a city near Cologne. In school she is very quiet but in her free time she is different. She laughs a lot and you can do everything with her. We "work" together in our "Jugendheim". There we have got groups of children and play with them many games. The Jugendheim belongs to the church.
I like her. She is very excited about this work.

Hi, well, I`m also in Katta`s group and want to introduce her now. Actually she isn`t 23 but 18 and goes to 12th grade at the Humboldt Gymnasium.
She surely isn`t quiet in school but talks a whole lot and this is the reason why I don`t actually know what we have to do right now. But Katta is really nice and you can laugh a lot with her (sometimes even about her=)-oh Katta don`t be mad at me we`re also loughing about me)
Well, Katta does a lot of things in her free time. Last year she played in the English drama group and played Macbeth, but she has not Macbeth`s personality! Then she`s working in the "Jugendheim" together with Leonie.
Well, I hope Katta isn`t mad about me. Have fun with Brave New World!

I`m in Katta's group,too and I try to introduce Robin.
Robin is 17 years old and in my english and music class.
He lives in Solingen,too. Robin was a half year in Great Britain and two times in Italy on vacation.
In his free time he plays computer and jumps trampoline.

I'm 18 years old and I have many hobbies, too. I go to the gym to practise body-building and swimming. I'd like to give you some personal information about myself.
so, i'm 18 years old and i live in Carpineto( little town near Colleferro and Rome).i have a lot of hobby, like music, sport, writing. I play and study drums in the "Licino Refice" school music accademy of Frosinone, and my favourite genre is Jazz. i love it!
Also my ambition is to join on the Italian Army, on the corps of Paratroopers or Carabinieri.
For me the Paratrooper is a myth, is a great hero, and I don't like only the tecnical aspect of this soldiers, but also the feeling and the romanticism that link their! i take this opportunity for remember the italian paratroopers of "Folgore" division, that fougth in the second world war in El-Alamein (Egypt), because this year is the 60° anniversary of the battle.
