features chats with all three old school oisters plus brand new tracks from the Cockney Rejects, the Gonads ('S.L.A.G.' and 'Valhallaballoo') the 4-Skins. Gal also played select numbers by the Strawberry Blondes, Pope, Dustman’s Custard, the Masons, Spit Like This, Honey Bane, the Shanklin Freak Show, Vice Squad, the East
End Badoes, Rhoda Dakar, the Stormbreakers and Resistance 77. Hodges was well impressed with the luxurious Total Rock studio, dubbing it “one up from hospital radio”. (No fair, most hospital radios are far more organised, and have the added bonus of being in the vicinity of scores of uniformed nurses rather than Malcolm Dome.) Gal was so shocked by this claim that he had a stroke - and Antonia Moore slapped him for it. The delectable Gonadette was on hand to capture the reunion for posterity. Later, various select Gonads and Pranksters began a three day beano to mark Gal’s 97th birthday of which doubtless there's more to come...
