Forever And Always
Chapter FIVE:
Sonny sat there and looked at her like she had grown three heads. "You new that you were my daughter?"
"No I never new, and I really dont know what to make of this since I never really new my mother. She just said that one day I would find my dad and he would tell me who she was. I guess she new that she was not going to live long or something but after I came here I asked my grandmother to help me find out who my father was. But we never found anything that could lead me to him. So as you can see this is something I am going to have to think about long and hard, and I am sure for you too. I think once I am out of here I would like to be able sit down with you and talk about this since you new my mother and I didn't. My gram said before when I was looking that she would stand behind me 100% and that she would help me anyway she new how."
THREE WEEKS LATER:
Liz was sitting in her studio, things have been going great for her. She had found her father and started to get to know him as a father and a friend again. It was different since she was used to Sonny just being Jason's boss and her old friend. But now things were different in more ways then one. She had started looking at Jason in a new light, and having the gaurds was fun to cause she was baking brownies and cookies for them.
Liz smiled as she thought back to the day at the hospital when Sonny told Carly and Jason that he and Liz were family.
FLASHBACK::::::
It was the day before she was released and Sonny asked Carly and Jason to come in and see him. He was sitting in the chair next to the bed and laughing with Liz.
There was a knock on the door and Max opened and asked if it was ok, Sonny nodded and they came in and looked a little off.
"Sonny what is going on here. Why did you call me down here to see Ms Muffet?" Carly asked starring at Liz.
Sonny shook his head he new this was going to be the hard part. "Carly if you and Jase would take a seat I could tell you why I called you here."
They both took their seats not knowing what was happening.
"The reason why I have asked you two to be here is because there is something I need to tell you. Or I should say that Elizabeth and I have something to tell you." he said running his hand threw his hair. "After I had my blood test and found out that Liz and I share the same type, I sent out for a DNA test to see what the chances were that we might be some how realated. And well it came back 3 weeks ago."
"What are you trying to say Sonny? Just spit it out." Carly said getting freaked that somehow Muffin face would be family.
Jason looked at Liz and locked eyes. He never took his eyes off her the whole time, wanting to see her reaction to what Sonny was about to say.
Sonny nodded his head. "The tests came back to show that Elizabeth and I are father and daughter."
Carly sat there laughing. She thought that Sonny was kidding her. I mean who would think that Sonny and Muffin Face were father and Daughter? "Come on now Sonny. Would you just tell us what it is that you need to tell us so that we can go home."
Jason looked, really looked at Liz and smiled. "So that means you are the boss' daughter and my partners daughter. I think I could get used to that. But then again I think I may need to have this whole story told so that I can figure out what the hell happened."
"Look Jase it happened many years ago and my mother and Sonny were young. Things happened and he never new till now. I mean do you think if he new he would have let it go this long without saying something?" Liz said as Sonny took her hand.
Jason just shook his head. He new Sonny and or Elizabeth would fill in the blanks for him.
Carly sat there with her mouth hanging open. She was speechless for the first time. Finially something came to her. "Over my dead body you are my husbands daughter. I mean you may think you can get away with this somewhere else but here honey think again."
"Carly that is enough. If you cant handle this then you need to leave." Sonny told his wife.
She looked at him like he had grown 3 heads. "Sonny what about our two kids sitting at home? Michael and Vanessa? Your kids, what do you think they are going to think when you tell them that they have a older sister?"
Smiling. "Well I know Michael will love it since he has always taken a liking to Liz and Vanessa might just do the same since she looks us to Michael."
Carly continued to find ways for this to be a mistake. She did not want Liz apart of her family. There was no way she could let that little twit back into her family after what she did to Jason all those years ago.
END OF FLASHBACK:::::::
So to say that after everything Carly was shown and told she still could not handle the fact that Sonny and Liz were family which meant that Carly, Michael and Vanessa were too.
Liz was happy as ever, cause now she had two younger siblings a father that loved her and a step-mother that was always calling her miss muffit0. Just think if this all happened years ago maybe Carly would have been nicer to her. 'Yeah right.' she thought to herself.
Alot of things have happened since she has been home from the hospital. Emily and Nikolas were stopping buy every other day with goodies from The cook and Lila sent well wishes along with Reggie. Sonny and Liz talked off and on but she hardly had time to herself since everyone that new here was coming over to see her since they all heard. Her grams came to visit before she left for her trip with the ladies from the center.
As Liz sat there on the couch there was a knock on the door. She new Francis or Johnny was on. They were always with her and that made her feel safe or as safe could be.
Johnny pocked his head in and told her that she had a guest. "Would you like me to tell them you are busy?"
Liz smiled. "No, Johnny you can let them in. I have nothing else to do."
Johnny opened the door wider and Jason came in. He new he should have called but that was never what they used to do.
"Jason what are you doing here? I thought you were working?" Liz asked.
He smiled one of his many knee weakers and walked into the room. "Yeah I was but I wanted to come and see how you were doing and maybe if you are up to it go for a ride tonight?"
Elizabeth starred wide eyes and grinning like the treasure cat from Alice in Wonderland. "Are you sure you want to Jason? I mean we have not done this in a few years."
"If I didn't want to do something then I would never have asked. So is that a yes from the smile on your face?"
"Yes I wanna go, but when?" she said getting gitty. "Can we go now or are you going to make me wait till later?"
"Be ready at 730 and dont eat anything I thought we could go grab a bit to eat and you know ride."
Liz jumped up and ran over to where he was standing and threw her arms around his neck. "Thank you so much Jason, you dont know how much this means to me."
Laughing. "I think I do since you only smile that big well when you are really happy. And judging by the smile I say you are really happy."
And that was all he said before he walked out of the studio.
ACROSS TOWN AT A SMALL HOUSE:
Sorel sat at his desk looking over the pictures he had of Elizabeth Webber. She was with Sonny, Jason and a few gaurds. But he new that she had some ties to Jason and Sonny. Now all he had to do was get his hands on her. So he sent his men to fallow her till she is where they can grab her and bring her to him. He new he was risking alot by taking her but this was the only way he new that Sonny and Jason would act out.
"Sir Frank said that he has a tap on her room and that Mr Morgan just left. He also said that they have plans to go out for a ride."
"Good make sure someone is with them at all times. I dont want any mistakes. She needs to be brought to me and I want to make sure that she is well taken care of." Sorel told the gaurd.
Sorel new that if he was caught before he carried out his plan he would pay with his life and that was something he was not ready to do.
He had the room all set up for when Elizabeth showed up. He new she was a drawer so he got drawing paper, pencils. He just hope that she was not a fighter like most woman he new.
Smiling at her photo. "You my dear are the ticket that I have been waiting for. You will get me my money, and the respect that I should have."
THE DOCKS
Jason was walking along the docks and new that tonight would be the night he told her everything. He need to explain it to her so that she new that he was beyond sorry for all the pain and hurt that he caused her.
He had his mind set on having the old bridge set up with candles, dinner, and music. But he could not do this all himself. He needed help and that only meant one person. 'Carly'. Shaking his head, he new that there would be a million questions but for now he needed her to do this one thing for him. So he picked up the phone.
"Hello?" Carly asked into her phone
"Carly its Jason. Look I need your help."
"What do you need me for? You never ask for it ever"
"I need you to set up a nice little dinner at the bridge for me. Can you do that?"
"I can, but can you tell me if this has to do with my step-daughter?" she asked as she cringed.
Jason shook his head. "Look can you do it or not? I can always ask Emily or someone."
"Ok. Ok. I will do it. When do you want it done by?"
"730 tonight please. I know this is last minute, but I need to do this."
"Ok Jase you can either come with me to get the stuff or let me take care of it?"
"Umm I have something that I have for it, but you do the rest on your own."
"Bye Jase."
"By Carly."
