Chapter 13: PG 13
MEN IN THE KITCHEN:
The guys had just finished going over the paper work. And Jason was not sure how to go about asking Sonny the one of the many things that would make him happy.
Sonny saw the look on his face and in his eyes all night. "Ok Jason spit it out already."
"What is that suppose to mean?" Jason asked.
"Look I know you wanna ask me something so do it."
"How do you know if I did or not?"
"Jason your eyes and face give you away."
"Oh, well there is something I would like to ask you but I am not sure how to go about it."
"Well try going at it from the beginning."
"Ok. Sonny you know you have always been like a brother if not a father to me right." he waited for Sonny's nood. "Well see Elizabeth and I have known each other for years and I finally got her back again and I dont ever plan to lose her. I guess what I am say or asking is. Do you think you would give me your permission to ask her to marry me? I know this is fast and all, but I cant take the chance if something happened and I never got the chance to start a life with her."
Sonny looked at Jason who was moving around in his seat. "Give me one good reason I would let you ask her?"
"Well I could give you a million if I have too."
"One will be fine." Sonny said.
"Well, she was there for me when I was shot, she took care of me and she stood up to the whole town. I was there to save her at Jakes and save her from alot of other things. She is my best friend next to Carly and you, and she never judged me when I told her things. Her and I share alot of things. I know from before that her life was always in danger because she was around me or known through me. But I wanna spend the rest of my life showing her how much she means to me and I wanna grow old with her and watch out children grow up. I wanna be that person she sees every morning and every night. I just want to show her real undying love. The love she never got growing up and the love she can get from me with never die."
"Ok." he said as he sat there and listent to everything Jason said.
"Ok? As in yes I can ask her? Ok you heard enough and the answer is no?"
"Ok as in you can ask my daughter to marry you. It took guts Jason to come to me and ask me to have my daughters hand, and for that I thank you." he said standing up.
Jason stood up also and put his hand out to Sonny. Sonny took it and brought Jason into a manly hug. "But let me tell you this much. If you ever hurt her in any way I will not wait to kill you."
"You have nothing to worry about Sonny. I will never hurt her as long as I am alive."
IN THE LIVING ROOM:
The men walked back into the living room to see the ladies talking. They new they were up to something, but werent sure what.
"So what are you talking about? Must be something big if you two are huddled together." Sonny asked as he took a seat on the chair by the fireplace.
Carly shook her head. "No we were talking about why Micheal was so upset."
"Oh did you find out why? Cause I hate to see him like this, it reminds me of when Jason would be out of town." Sonny said.
"That is what it is about, but not Jason. It was Liz and how she has not been around much to spend time with him." she said looking at her husband. "I guess he thought she was being like Jase and was to busy for him."
"But like I told him. I had somethings I needed to take care of before I moved on with my life and I had to make sure I did them." Liz said as she looked into Jason's eyes. "He understood that I will be here for him now and that him and I will be going to see a movie and getting some ice cream."
Sonny looked at Liz and smiled. "You are really just like Jason. You two think you can buy my kids off for not being around. I dont like it and I think I will let this one slide but I dont want it happening again."
"Thats fine dad, but I do need to make it up to him and I will. I just needed to show him that his sister was not going anywhere." Liz explained as she saw Carly try not to laugh.
"Why are you laughing?"
"Because you sound just like Jason did when your dad ripped into him for buying the kids off with gifts." she said giggling.
"Ok I think it is time for us to go home and besides I need to go over somethings for work tomorrow." Jason said.
"Ok I guess this is goodnight then." Liz looked at Carly puzzled.
"Yeah I guess it is. Tomorrow you and I will go out for lunch and then we can go shopping." Carly said as she stood up next to her husband.
"Yeah I like the sounds of that. I could use something new. And lunch will be good. What time did you want to head out?"
"Oh how about 11:00 and then we can spend the afternoon shopping." she said with a big smile.
"Ok I will be ready by 11. See you later." she said as she gave her a hug.
Liz gave her dad a hug and walked to where Jason was standing. "Night dad see you tomorrow."
"Night you two. Jason remember what I said about it. And Liz I will see you tomorrow."
JASON & LIZ'S PLACE:
Jason and Liz left and headed to their place. Jason was thinking of the best way to pop the question casue he wanted it to be special for her. He needed something that would work. And then it came to him. The best way and place for it to happen.
As they walked into their place Jason watched her as she headed up stairs. This was all working out for him and he just needed to make sure it went the way he wanted.
"Jason. Are you going to be long down here?" she asked going up the steps.
"Nope I was going to come up with you. But I was think you and I could take a show before bed."
"Mmm. Sounds like a good idea. I think I would like very much, I just want to get all that feeling of killing someone off my body."
"I know what you feel like. You go start the shower and I will be up there in a minute. I need to lock up and then I am all yours."
Smiling she headed up the rest of the stairs to the bathroom. Knowing Jason this was not going to be a simple shower. He always liked having a little fun in there. That is why she always tried to make sure she showered at least a few times on her own.
Jason finished locking everything up. He ran up the stairs and into their room and went straight to his dresser. He opened it and pulled back his boxers and there it was. The ring he had for her and the ring that would bind them together for ever.
Jason heard the water running and placed the ring back where it came from. He would make this more special then she ever thought possible. Stripping himself down he walked into the bathroom in his boxer briefs and saw her standing there under the spray of the hot water. 'God she is going to be the death of me.' he thought to himself.
Walking over to the glass door he smiled, she had no idea he was here and he hoped it was like that when he got into the shower with her.
Working fast to shed his boxers he slowly pulled the door open. She turned and smiled.
"Took you long enough. Where did you go?" She asked as he stepped into the warm shower.
"I was making sure everything was locked and I had everything I needed for later."
"And what would that be?" she asked as she turned her back to his hard chest.
Chuckling. "Nothing you need to worry your pretty little head about till later."
Jason brought his hands up to her shoulders and pulled her hair aside. Leaning down he placed light kisses over the area. "Mmm you taste like strawberries."
Tilting her head even more. "I know you like them so I bought the shower gel. And I also bought some other stuff too, but you will have to wait to know what that is."
Running his hands down her arms to her hands and back up again. "Mmm how long do I have to wait to know? Cause right now I dont know if I can wait that long."
Turning around she looked him right in the eye and smiled. "Are you sure you cant." and then she looked down to see his Mr. Big ready to play.
"Oh. Well I guess someone is a little happy right now."
"Damn rights someone is happy right now."
"Mmm think you can make it to the bedroom? Cause I would much rather be there then here."
"Race you." Jason said as he turned off the water and saw her running for their bedroom.
"You cheat you know that." he said laughing as he walked into the bedroom with a hard on.
"Well what do you want me to do? Stand there and wait for you to turn the water off and then you carry me into the room and throw me on the bed?" she asked as she lay in the middle of the bed ready and waiting for Jason.
"Well no. But I know you like being thrown, so now that you took all the fun out of it for me I guess I will have to have some fun with you." he said as he wiggled his eye brows.
"Oh god Jase. You are crazy." she said as he walked over and crawled onto the bed.
"You know I am only crazy for you." he said as he kissed her on the lips. "And you will be the only one I am ever crazy for."
"I love you Jase you know that right. And no matter what happens in the future you will always be loved by me."
'Damn her. If she keeps this up I am going to lose my Mr Big.' he looked down to see it now limp. "Thanks honey." he said pointing to his Little man.
Giggling. "I am sorry. Would you like me to fix it for you?" she asked still giggling.
"Nope. I think now is a good a time as any for what I have planed for you. So if you would please wait right here."
He got off the bed giving Liz a nice veiw of his well shaped ass. 'Mmmm that is a fine ass.' she thought to herself.
Jason opened his dresser drawer and pulled out the box without her seeing it. Placing it behind his back he walked back to the bed.
"Jase what are you up too?" she asked as she pulled the sheet up over her naked body.
Going down slowly on one knee on the floor beside the bed. "I was thinking off something like this."
Tears welling up in her eyes. "Ja..Jason what are you doing?"
"Elizabeth. You know I am not good with words. So I am going to go with what my heart is telling me." Smiling as he saw the tears in her eyes. "Liz I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. You have shown me again what life is like with you in it. And I dont think I can live with out you there. You were there for me when I was shot, you took care of me and lied to the town to protect me. You were there for me when I came home all those times, and you kept my heart here with you. You also gave me the wind.You gave me more of a meaning to come home other then for work. I know I was stupid to let you walk out of my life the first time, and I promise you right now I will never keep anything from you or let you walk away without a fight. You have showed me that I can see things that I never could. You have given me the chance to see a future and in that future I want you by my side, and I want kids lots of them running around our home yelling and screaming. I wanna see our kids take their first steps and say their first words. I want to grow old with you and I again want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you do me the honor of being my wife? Will you marry me Elizabeth?"
Liz looked at Jason and smiled. "Yes. Yes I will marry you." she said as she jumped off the bed and into his arms.
"Yes I will marry you and grow old with you." she said as she lowered her head and kissed him hard.
"Thanks you." he said as he pulled away from the kiss. "Thank you for making me the happiest man alive." He brought the ring out of the box and place it on her finger.
"Oh Jason it is beautiful."
"It is some of the red glass I found in Italy, I had some of it left and I had them put it into the ring along with the three diamonds. I hope you like it?"
"Oh Jase I more then like it. I love it and I love you."
He picked her up and crawled onto the bed with her in his arms and lay her softly on the sheets. Kissing her again he felt that this night was going to be a long one. "And I love you."
