CHAPTER 1
It was just after first class when Liz walked to her locker. Her best friend Emily Bowen was following in behind her talking a mile a minute.
"Em, can you please stop. I am tired of listening to you talk about Nikolas. I know you like him and all but I have heard all I can hear." Liz said as she flipped her lock off and opened the door.
"Wow. Who woke up on the other side of the bed today? Gee Elizabeth you would think you would be a little nicer when I talk about this." Emily said as she waited for Liz to get her stuff. "I mean it is not like I talk about him all the time."
"Em you know you do and it has to stop. I know more about Nikolas then I do about myself." she said as she closed her locker and locked it up. "I think you need to tell Nikolas you like him so I dont have to hear about it all the time."
Just as they started to walk away from the locker Liz remembered she left her note book and told Emily to go ahead to class that they would meet up at lunch.
As Elizabeth opened her locker again she grabbed her note book and as she was closing the door to the locker she saw something that looked out of place. She turned and saw someone who looked lost.
"Are you new here? You look like you are looking for something or someone." she said as she stated to make her way over to the person.
"Not that it is any of your business or anything. Yeah I am new and no I am not looking for anyone or anything as you put it." he said as he continued to walk away from her.
"Ok have it your way then." she turned and left to get to class before she was in more trouble.
As the day went on Liz had heard there was a "new" guy in school but had yet to meet or see him. Emily as normal was waiting for her at her locker.
"Oh my god. Have you seen the new guy yet? He is so hot." she said as she shifted her bag to the other shoulder.
"No not yet. Although I thought I did. But I could be wrong." she told her friend.
Just then Lucky Spencer walked down the hall with a guy Liz had yet to meet. He was cute but looked to tough for her liking.
"Liz that is the new guy. Right there with Lucky. Come on you can meet him now." she said as she tried to pull her with her.
"I dont have time Em. I want get my lunch and eat outside." she said in a huff.
"Oh come on, what could be more important them meeting the new guy?" she said as she watched Lucky walk towards them with the new guy.
"Oh great just my luck. I will never get to eat lunch at this rate." she mumbled.
"Liz look who I ran into in my gym class." Lucky said as he came up and put an arm around Liz's shoulder.
"Lucky how many times do I have to tell you stop hanging all over me. I am not interested in you what so ever, so back off or I will have to deal with you." she said shrugging off his arm.
"So Lucky, you want introduce us to your new friend here?" Emily asked eyeing up the new candy of PC High.
"Oh yeah, but first I need to ask Liz something." he said looking and the new guy. "Liz have you talked to Jason Morgan? You know your best friend?"
"Lucky don’t even go there. You know I don’t want to talk about him or hear about him. He left without so much as a good-bye. He never wrote me back so to answer your question I do not know anyone by the name of Jason Morgan." she said as she looked at Emily for help.
