CHAPTER 6
~AT THE DOCKS~
"You wouldn't! You wouldn't hurt me like that would you. I thought we were or are close?" she said getting scared. "You can't JM. You are supposed to be my best "friend" and help me out with this stuff."
"Whatever. I am leaving and you can find your own way home. I thought I new you Liz but I guess I was wrong." he said walking out of the park with a big smirk on his face.
"Jason. Wait please. I need to explain this to you." she yelled after him.
"Give it up Lizzie he wont listen now. He has his mind made up about you and there is nothing you can do about it. Just Forget him and move on with me." Brandon said taking her by the shoulders.
Liz looked at him like he had lost his mind. "I wont give up on him again, he is the only person besides Lucky that would protect me when we were growing up."
"That is nice Liz, but we need to leave. You need to be in before your Grandmother sends out the cops." Brandon said as he lead her towards the Firebird.
Liz pulled away from Brandon and stopped. "I am not leaving with you do you hear me. I want to go and talk to Jason. I need to make things right with him."
"Whatever. You go, but I am not driving you there. You can get there on your own. But know this. He will throw you out of his life just like he did before." Brandon said as he got into the car and sped off.
~THE Morgan‘s~
Jason walked into his house to see his mom and dad sitting on the floor in front of the fire.
"Hey Son. How was your day?" Allan asked his son.
"Oh you know. I saw Bobbie and Carly, and Lucky, Emily and Liz and then I blew Liz off at the docks after he Boyfriend showed up." he said as he made his way to the stairs.
"JASON MORGAN. You did what? You know how much that girl cried for you and how much it hurt her to see anyone from your family for months." Monica said. "You go back there and you make sure she is ok. You are a Quartermain and you never leave a girl when things get rough."
“I am not a Quartermain I am a MORGAN.” Jason yelled back.
"There is no point mom. She is with her boyfriend. And I am out the door yet again. And it is all thanks to you because you sent me away from here, from family and friends and Liz." he said and we got to the top of the stair's and walked into his room and slammed the door.
~JASON'S ROOM~
'What was I thinking leaving her with that loser? He is not good enough for her.' Jason thought to himself.
He was interrupted from his thoughts by a knock on the door.
"What?" he asked.
The door opened with a tear strained face of his childhood best friend.
"Liz what are you doing here? I thought you were with your boyfriend?" he asked as he walked over and sat on his bed.
"I I I needed to see you. I needed to know why you said those things you did?" she asked trying to get the words out.
"Look Liz. I don't have time for this." he said. "I said what I said because I did and that is all there is to it."
"But that is not the JM I know. You would never hurt me no matter what. You always protected me from the bad things." she explained hoping that he would talk to her.
"Damn it Liz. Why would you get involved with a loser like that guy. You know you can do better then him and you know your Grams would kill him if he ever hurt you." he told her as he pulled his shirt over his head.
"Just like you are hurting me now." she said. "Why are you being like this. Jason would your Grandmother like it if she new how you were treating me?" she asked.
"Whatever Liz. Look I need to get ready. I have to go out. I have to be somewhere right now and with you here it is not helping. So if you would leave now I can get ready." he said in a very rough tone.
