I'm very blue that Shelle are leaving. I know we've known for a long time that this was coming but its all starting to sink in. Not only is Days losing a terrific couple but the fans are losing two very generous actors. I've always appreciated how MM and BB were with their fans, answering questions and attending events. I know there were times when that generosity was taken advantage of and even mocked but they showed maturity and poise by moving on and not punishing the many for the few. People who are willing to do that are very rare.
I've also always respected how MM tried to use her position to help MS, something that she has openly shared as being close to her heart. Her events weren't for personal profit, they went to charity and that made them even more special. I just wish I was able to attend ome. Maybe I will in the future because one thing I am sure of is that a talent like MM's is not going to go unnoticed for long. Like she said, she's only leaving the building.
I hope that BB gets a role that is a new character because I think he really had an uphil battle replacing a fan favorite like Jason AND play a character being penned by a new writer. It was clear that HS was going to change the character of Shawn regardless of who played him yet many have blamed BB for those changes just like many blamed MM for the changes in Belle even though they began long before KS left.
I wish MM and BB the best of luck. They are talented, beautiful and generous people who I am sure will be successes in their lives. I feel honored and privlidged to be a fan of theirs.
