I admit I was surprised that I enjoyed yesterday's show primarily because I viewed it as a stand alone event rather than part of a serial story. I enjoyed the banter at both mansions if I closed my eyes and pretended that Chloe wasn't there. I admit that the writers got one thing write and that is Chloe is still all about Chloe. Boohoo, she got her feelings hurt because of how Victor treated her, cry me a river Chloe.
I have a theory about this Broe storyline and that is that Days is waiting to see if at the end of his current contract at B&B, KL will leave there to return to Days. If he will then we will get one storyline if not, they will either recast Brady, drop the storyline as if it never happened or find a way to just end it. In the meantime the question is, will anybody care? Not me that's for sure. To be blunt, KL would be a fool to leave B&B which is a successful show for one that is struggling to survive.
I'm waiting for the shoe to drop with Dr. Dan and find out what his story is. Which woman will he bed first, Chloe, Kate, Nicole or Chelsea? Again, does anybody care.
The scenes at the DiMera mansion were good but I still don't understand how moving in there will prove that Sami and EJ are really married. Me thinks this is just about needing one less set to set up thus saving money for all the new characters that have come on board.
