Was I the only one that noticed a tiny spark yesterday (mbetween Dr. Matt and the cute little blonde nurse at the clinic ( I think her name is Nadine)? He kinda sparkled when telling her she was on the ball.
I noticed it too. Yes, her name is Nadine. I really like Nadine and wouldn't mind seeing her with Dr. Matt more.
Also, LOVED, LOVED, the Maxie and Jason scenes when she dismissed him from his own house. He seems a bit more relaxed around her for some reason. Do they have history?
There isn't a real history except for a periphal history. He's always been around in her life. In fact, Jason Quartermaine was one of the doctors that helped deliver Georgie on the floor Luke's club. Although, I believe Maxie was at home when that happened. Maxie is supposed to be about 6 years older than Georgie and Lulu, but SORAS came into play there. Jason was around during Maxie's childhood because he was Robin's boyfriend. I also remember a scene where Sonny and Jason were discussing "taking care of" drug dealers dealing to underage kids after Maxie OD'd on Ectasy (Maxie was played by Robyn Richards at the time). Recently Jason saved Maxie's life when Dr. Ian Devlin was holding her at gunpoint.
As I said before, Jason has always been around, but the banter hasn't. That has only existed recently since Maxie got her "smart" mouth - which she hasn't always had. I love how she gets with Jason, and he just takes it. I think because he likes Spinelli and Spinelli likes her. He was the same way with Lulu when Spinelli was fawning all over her.
That dark haired girl that came to visit Spinelli..... I'm assuming that is Leyla???? She's gorgeous!
Leyla is gorgeous. I think they've been hiding her a bit lately to try to figure out what to do with her. A lot of fans don't like her because she was somewhat obnoxious and pathetic in the Scrubs storyline. I like her when she's away from Scrubs - seeing her with Spinelli has been refreshing.
Sonny and Carly were quite entertaining yesterday. Loved the fire and passion in that argument. Were they good together when they were paired up?
Yes, they have always had that fiery love-hate relationship. Inara pretty much summed up how they started, except for the fact that she was married to AJ Quartermaine (but didn't love him) at the time she slept with Sonny, then got pregnant (lost the baby) by Sonny, which is why the whole relationship became public. I believe the first time (it was one of the times), that Sonny and Carly married it was so that Carly and Sonny didn't have to testify against each other. AJ is Michael's birth father. That's a whole other story if you ever want to know.
It's very fortunate that Sonny has sparked with all of Carlys except for one (in my opinion). Sarah Brown was the first (the current Claudia Zacharra), then Tamara Braun, another girl, and last is Laura Wright.
Who is Nicholas paired with? I know his wife just died, right? Is he interested in anyone else? I actually found myself enjoying Lulu yesterday in her scenes with Nicholas.
Nikolas isn't paired with anyone right now. Nadine has a thing for him, and I wouldn't mind if they went that way because I think Nadine is good for him and Spencer (his son). Emily was his fiance - they got engaged the night she died. She stuck around as an hallucination forever - which was ridiculous. There's quite a bit of history of Nikolas and Emily if you ever want to know. The basics are that they were married, divorced (he cheated and she had a hard time getting over the fact that pscycho Nik lookalike raped her). They went their different ways - he had a kid with Courtney Matthews (Sonny's sister - who died) and she had a relationship with Sonny (eeww!). They finally found their way back to each other and she died.
Lulu is rather enjoyable with her family, most of the time. Lulu was a refreshing character when she first came on and fans loved her. But they've wavered on what to do with Lulu, which makes her seem wishy washy and fans are getting tired of her. I think Julie is capable - she was awesome in the abortion storyline and when her mother woke up for a few weeks, but they just haven't found anything permanent for her do.
For some reason Claudia and her brother Johnny give me the creeps....... they seem a bit too obsessed with each other. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww!
Yeah, I'm not digging the Zacharras at all. I skip them. I don't need more mob people to watch.
