I was watching the preview for next week, and apparently she is going to sleep with Spinneli. So are they just trying to give the Spin/Maxie fans what they want before closing the door forever, or did they just dangle a Matt and Maxie pairing in front of us to get us to initially tune in?

I'm not saying that I won't keep watching just for the simple fact that JC and KS are on there, but I will have to say that I'll be less motivated to watch if they really have no intention of doing a pairing.

1. It creates a triangle
2. Actually gives time to develop a story between Maxie/Matt instead of just throwing them together
3. Cashing in on the popularity of Spinelli/Maxie ignoring the fact there are many of their fans that just like them as friends.

I personally wouldn't have a problem if it is a while before Matt/Maxie get together. TPTB at GH are not going to just let JC/KS sit there without at least trying to pair them together to bank on fans of Shelle. Just give it time.

I am a Spixie fan, but I am still on the fence if I want them to go romantic. I want GH to explore more of who Matt is and gradually work up to MaxiMa.

I so wasn't expecting them to just throw Matt and Maxie together. I've watched soaps enough to know that will never happen. I guess I was just expecting more inital interaction between the two of them. I guess I'm just kind of surprised, with all of the hoopla that was initally around JC coming on GH that I was expecting them to maybe at least have a storyline together, nevermind them getting together.

Sorry, I'm just frustrated because I don't watch Days anymore...can't stomach it...so I tune in to GH hoping to see two of my favorite actors on screen again and I guess I'm just being impatient.

And that is that GH does not do love stories like Days does, or did.  GH mixes couples up alot more and alot faster and are not known for their sweeping love stories.  The ironry is that they created the biggest supercouple in Daytime with Luke and Laura but that was a fluke that they ran with. 

So I warn you, don't expect much in terms of romance and expect that Dr. Matt will bed a few most likely by time he gets around to Maxie.
