hi, i've been using multiple versions of the .pac and have installed it on many computer and laptops i've worked on for friends over the years and recommend no browser be without this great tool.
i've updated regularly and have to update my .pac files (a total of three; i use a set of batch/shell scripts to change and refresh them) to reflect my modifications. i've wondered for some time now it you'd be interested in a php script that uses an sql back-end to generate up-to-date .pac files on-demand.
i want to say that i've only began structuring the php script and sql db, but i also am not implying that you host such a thing in place of the archived downloads (i'm bandwidth conscious about hosting such things publicly) just that you might like to have such a script to update the list of blocked expressions.
if anybody else knows what's going on, awesome.
and now for my third [brain thing] (sorry, i just jumped into caffeine again after a three day break to detox so i'm my fluffy self for this last bit i take days to post anything, just check my site.); i'd like to configure multiple proxies off one script. to make more sense: i'd like to have multiple sets of rules with which to choose from multiple proxies in a logic path. here's a simplification of the type of logic i'm looking for:

well that's it for this post. i'll check back in thursday i think and see if anybody has any ideas. i'd like to say that i'm not lazy, just too busy to spend time thinking about everything i'm trying to do. point me in the right direction and i'll gladly do the footwork.
