Sasquatch are wild, mysterious creatures that, if annoyed, may be extremely dangerous to intruders.
BE ALERT AT NIGHT: Sasquatch are generally most active at night and may be found anywhere, particularly densely wooded areas in Wyoming.
AVOID SURPRISING A SASQUATCH: Sasquatch may perceive an individual as a threat if the individual startles the creature. Whenever possible, shout, bang pots, and create other loud noises to warn the Sasquatch of your presence.
DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT: Under no circumstances should you attempt to make direct eye contact with a Sasquatch. Sasquatch may take eye contact as a challenge, and one never wants to challenge a nine-foot tall ape-man capable of snapping a neck like a twig.
IF YOU ENCOUNTER A SASQUATCH, DO NOT RUN: This may trigger a chase response from an otherwise non-aggressive Sasquatch. If the creature has not attacked, speak softly and soothingly as you slowly back away from it.
IF A SASQUATCH ATTACKS, STILL DO NOT IMMEDIATELY RUN: Simply yell, "Hey, there's a freshly killed yak over there on those rocks!" THEN run like hell when Sasquatch looks.
NEVER LEAVE YAKS UNATTENDED AT NIGHT: The previous step should explain this enough.
