I am a skeptic of everything, from American Idol to Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. I have my own reasons for my skeptism, for instance: American Idol is obviously rigged to whomever Simon would prefer to win. And Bigfoot and Loch Ness Monster are obvious hoaxes.
But I do love the story of the El Chupacabra, why? Because it makes an excellent story. But that's just it, I've heard the same story so many times I can never sit and 'believe' a word of it. I've read everything from killing chickens to the El Chupacabra being a demon in a forbidden area of the forest that can laugh.
All these stories, always the same description. I could write one too if I felt like it, but I don't.
I don't see video footage or pictures, just eye witness accounts. And eye witness acounts can be very altered, for example, when the witness goes back and thinks about what they saw, it can take many forms completely different than what it actually was. There's no conclusive evidence of this creature existing. You'd think someone could take a DNA sample if it was charging its teeth into so many chickens, but they can't, because that would disprove the legend, or prove the monster.
I do believe in monsters. I have one of my own living in the woods (I've seen it only twice, however), but I cannot believe in THIS monster.
