- The parents of Nancy Benoit lost a lawsuit which they filed against Hustler magazine for publishing nude pictures of their daughter from the early 1980s, after she was strangled by her husband & former RAW Heavyweight champion Chris Benoit. Judge Thomas Thrash ruled that the photographer, Mark Samansky, didn't violate the privacy of Benoit & dismissed the lawsuit. The Judge cited freedom of the press & called Nancy's death "a legitimate matter of public interest & concern," according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution newspaper. "The fact that the Court personally views publication of the photographs to be offensive & distasteful isn't determinative," he added. The newspaper also says that the family are still considering to file a wrongful-death lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment.
