I always do a preshampoo treatment using EVOO and/or St Ives Miracle Mudd.
I shampoo then condition,
wrap a towel around my hair to absorb some of the water,
do my nightly skin beauty routine,
take my hair down and apply monoi oil on my length from my ears to my ends,
use a detangler mixture(Equess Avocaco Mist, Ion Reconstruction Treatment, Mega Tek, and water),
then a few mists of Back to Basics detangler to add shine, I also apply some Mega Tek to my scalp.
and finally detangle with a Goody widetooth comb.
I then wrap it back in my towel for an hour or two.
I take my hair down, coil it in a bun, then wrap a scrunchi around to secure.
During the cold months, when I want my hair to be drier in the moring I will use my blow dryer on low for a few seconds with my head uside down and concentrate on my scalp, then do my hair routine.
In the moring, I take my hair down, do a scalp massage with a oval shampoo brush and apply a little extra monoi just to the ends, use my detangler mixture, then comb. I began applying Mega Tek on my length for added protection because it just got cold here.
I very rarely bush in the moring. When I brush it's in the evening and before I do my preshampoo treatment.
I have thick heavy hair and it does take a while to dry. I have posted that I have been wearing a damp bun to work so it doesn't really have to be that dry in the morining.
I hope this helps
