You and Scott have a past life connection.This is not the first lifetime that you two have known each other.
Also in a past life their where circumstances that kept you both apart even though you truely loved each other.
This is a case of true love and true love is able to conquer all.
Scott has a mental block concerning the possibility of making this work.
I feel very strongly that he desires this relationship with you.
His loyality to his mom and his sense of duty is fierce.
His mental block is he can't see how it would be possible for you two to be together.
He has lost the faith in love vanquishing and conquering all.
It is very much needed that he continue to believe .
My concern is that he may settle for less than what he really wants just because he thinks its a impossible situation.
If he does there will be a repeat of what occurred in the previous lifetime and again you two will not end up together.
Continue to keep in contact with him.And don't let you hope waiver.Hopefully it will inspire him to do the same.There is a crisis before him in the near future that will be a very strong test .If he can make it through that then he will be able to have the faith required to believe in the impossible.
