What is this?

My young son (8 years old) recently confided in me. He claims that he sees a man quite frequently. When I questioned him further, he revealed the man is an old man, he is black, and has a "blue glow" around him. He said he was afraid because when he tries to talk to the man he just stares at him and will not speak. Most times he sees this man from the side but, sometimes the man looks directly at him. When I asked him why he never told me before he said he was afraid I wouldn't believe him. I do believe him because he has not added any elaborate details and I'm not aware of anything he may have seen on TV to spark his immagination. In an attempt to relieve his fear, I have tried to explain it to him the best I can but I truly do not know how. I've told him this could be his guardian angel and is just here to watch over him. He is no longer afraid and actually finds it "so cool" now!

I just want to make sure I am giving him correct info. What does it mean? Who is this person? Does my son have a gift or is this fairly common? If anyone could offer any advice and/or recommend a book that might help I would so appreciate it!

Angelic Protector

Your sons silent companion is mostly likely an Angelic Protector or as commonly know as Guardian Angel.
This one seems to be quite diligent about his duties.
So he should take comfort in the fact that he's always around watching out for him.
Angels are known for having a glow white blue or sometimes pink. Saints also have a glow . There glow has been confused sometimes with wings when they move.
Not to worry you are telling him correctly.And there is no harm in your son talking to his Angel even when he can't see him ...he can let him know he apreciates his help. And no reason to be concerned mom ,with this guy he is safe. He follows him beyond the home as well , where ever he goes.

Thank you so much for your response Deborah Anna! I was feeling a little unsettled but since reading your advice I am comforted by a profound peace. Your explanation has put my mind at ease.

From the moment my son was put in my arms I've had a very strong feeling there was something very special about him. To tell you the truth I felt it was HE who was MY angel. I've always had this overwhelming feeling that he has only been "loaned" to me and would soon be called back. Can't explain it but also can't overcome it.

So glad to know he has a great protector. I mean, I really knew he had a guardian angel. Last summer he fell face first from the top step of an olympic high dive. His rib cage caught the side of a large concrete block at the bottom of the ladder. He never shed a tear and walked away with a very small scratch! I told him then he must have a guardian angel. There was really no other explanation. Now, every time he tells the story he also tells of his guardian angel.

Funny how all the little "taps on the shoulder" begin to make sense!

One more question....can his angel hear me? In other words, if I were to thank him, would he hear me?

A Little More Than That I Think

Accounting for that feeling that he didn't quite belong to you. Some people enter this world with one foot in this world and one foot remains in the other .They never completely belong to this world or to the other world of spirit. This is because they usually will serve both worlds and become a go between for them together.Usually these people grow up to be very spiritual and have wisdom beyond the normal every day person. It is possible your son may be one of these. Time will tell. Looks like he has the potential for more .
