Hi I've only just signed up to this but i need help with a couple of things.

1) I turn 19 tomorrow and I am an Empath for almost 5 years now i have known what it is actually called i never really knew or understood what it was i just wanted it to go away it seemed more like a curse than a gift.

Unfortunately recently that has come to pass and i am not so sure it's a good thing now. I have been under a lot of emotional stress and i somehow think that it is blocking my gift and i cannot seem to unblock it.

I exercised my gift regularily and i meditated daily but somehow it dissappeared. I meditate frequently in the hopes that i will find inner peace but my attempts are futile and i am left high and dry.

I'd appreciate it if someone can offer some advice on this subject thank you.


2) The second problem is more of a confusion. I hear voices.... always have i also see things and the people behind the voices.... now my hospital doctor and psychotherapist say it's psychosis or schizophrenia.... but my dad and his girlfriend being part of a spiritualist church say that they are spirits from the astral plain trying to contact me for something.... i don't know who to believe please can somebody help me.....

Try staying in contact with those that have similar interests.And the mental issue ,well truth is most mental issues are some type of spirit possession or influence .Just because you hear voices are see things does not mean that you have been unduly influenced or possessed but rather that you are sensitive to the spirit world.However you would need to protect yourself.Those whom keep their vibrations high usually don't have to worry about lower level energies.People you see out of control with mental illness are effected by these lower level energies.I don't know how well versed you are on the bible but one particular incident depicted in there indicates the nature of mental illness.They spoke of a man whom roamed the country for years naked and living off the wild and that folks thought he was crazy but Jesus saw that he was possessed by spirits and cast them out.
I don't think you have to worry about having a mental illness yourself what you are experiencing is called clairvoyance and clairaudio impressions .Simply meaning clear seeing and clear hearing but on a sixth sense level.It is just psychic experiences.
And don't worry so much about your empathic block it will not last .I have seen this many times before .Most people will get a big block right before they break through to a new higher level of sensitivity.All this block means is that is that you are getting ready to go to the next level keep on pushing thru it.
I hope some of what I am telling you helps you to get a little better understanding of some of what is happening.As you learn and grow this will become like the ABC's for you later these are some of the fundamental building blocks in developing your gifts.
