I wasn't saying U4E is a camper game...

...but the U4E weapon replacement scheme #1 tends to fill levels with camper and spammer weapons. I was thinking about Tomahawk (which makes the game fun when fairly used) and the spiderbombs : thoses weapons ruin the gameplay because lag make it impossible to avoid them (you see a missile/spiderbomb then you explode) , I'm not sure U4E coders realized that U4E online playing is much more laggy than their LAN tests...
when someone shoots lightning shells w/ SPASS the game almost freezes ! And you can't find poison/QSG grenades in dm-tempest or dm-peak (maps mostly used on standart U4E servers...) ; indeed I don't have any trouble w/ campers in dm-U4E-Swank because of the howzy
I think U4EF almost forces the gamers to have a fair play... grenades have an important role here.
Even on custom maps , players always tend to get the katana/tomahawk/QSG instead of the freezer or flamer which are imo the leetest U4E weapons. Just because it's easier to kill. Mappers should ban overkills from their maps (BFG and howzy are now balanced though)
