Questions about any updates?

First of all, I want to say again how great the UFEF mod was. It's a brilliant design, and deserves every point that was awarded to it in the reviews I've read (modsquad, the mutation, etc.).

I am mostly writing this to ask if there are any plans for an update to this mod. I know you guys are planning on working on a commercial game, but I would hope that you guys would at least attempt to refine the game further.

I have read posts about future weapons, etc. but I have a some small bugs/features that should be considered (i think) in a possible future release.

1) I noticed my roomate playing U4EF yesterday, and when running around as the crusader (or whichever class has the big shield). When he was killed while carrying the shield, the shield dropped. I thought in U4EF you didn't drop your weapon?

2) Can you guys do something about the TeddyX and Draco2X models not being available for the bots?

3) Put U4EF weapons in U4E?

4) Allow us to map the sprint and special ability keys! The sprint key is currently mapped to Num0 or Num1, which are two of the "View Teamate" buttons mapped by default. The special ability is fine, but it would be nice to be able remap it if we want.

5) A all-in-one install? I hate trying to tell people: "You need to install this, then this, and finally this" when they want to play this mod.

6) Once again, I'll bring up the my favorite rant: The "Unreal Tournement" predefined selection for weapons, doesn't work properly. The weapons need to be set to the usual weapons, not "Skip" cause that only leaves you with NOTHING! At the very least, it needs to be AdditionalMelee="Skip", ImpactHammer="ImpactHammer", Enforcer="Enforcer". This guarantees that the players will start each level with the default UT weaponry, while having access to picking up the new weapons.

7) (Last one, more of a question) This relates to #6...

If there's anyway to do this: I would like to set up matches the following way: Players start with Default UT weapons (IH/Chainsaw, Enforcer). The level contains at random: UT weapons and U4E weapons. I know there is the ability to randomize the weaponry in U4E, but here's the problem i have with that: Ammo and Weapons in the level don't match up! I want to play U4e in a manner where the weapons change each level, but the ammo matches the weapons. That way I don't pick up Flashbomb darts, only to realize there's no rifle to accompany them in the map. Or the other problem being that the U4E ammo does't replace the ammo for the UT weapon that was replaced by U4E. For example, if the game randomly selects: SniperRifle="Fleshbomb Rifle", then fleshbomb darts should replace SniperRifle Ammo.

8) Can you guys seriously work on updating the existing documentation/manual, and give us a new one for the new stuff? That would seriously improve the playability, since most of the stuff you learn (ie. configs) is from playing around A LOT. Also, the current docs are sort of confusing, they really need to be reworked.

I know I sound fairly demanding, but looking over the mod some more, there are just some minor things that really irked me a bit. If you guys have the time to finish up the mod, that would be excellent.

If not, well thanks for a wonderful mod, and good luck on the commercial game.

UT2K3 will not be the same without U4E!
