Although hardly anybody seems to remember anything I've done for the UT community, I personally sponsered an U4E map making contest out of my own pocket. I put up about $200 of my own money for this, cash that I got as part of my share from that "Make Something Unreal" contest, that nobody remembers. We got almost 40 maps entered for that contest. Hardly even got a mention on Planet Unreal...
Do you notice a common theme? We do something amazing, and Planetunreal, Epic, and everybody else out there seems to take no notice. We even win their damn contests and they still treat us like we don't exist, well giving BIG FAT mod deals to losers like TacOps and ChaosUT.
I hate UT, Epic, and almost everybody at PlanetUnreal. Period.
