As you may have noticed if you've looked at the front page today, the Christmas issue of Paintbox is now 'back' - http://www.bluejam20.freeserve.co.uk/xmas.htm
...and it's about time we had another Christmas thread anyway. Your thoughts on films, radio and TV programmes, and whatever else, old and new, please!
Just taking this opportunity to wish all of you out there in Paintbox land a very happy and holy Christmas. Be sure to have one.
More on topic, isn't the Christmas TV schedule rubbish this year? A few Peter Cook documentaries, (obviously a good thing yet there have been so many now) that's about it. Really. No good old specials really, I've never like Fools And Horses, *hate* the programme, yet the BBC are showing some more of those.
It's just been such a poor comedy year all round, and what's meant to usually be the zenith of the comedy calendar, Christmas, pretty much epitomises the direness.
