An opportunity to climb inside Neil Innes' head and lie down there for half an hour on a cold dark January night. Tune in to hear songs, atmospheric musings and some very irritating adverts.

I... think that it's probably going to get better. Even though they were the most interesting bits, Neil at his piano talking about the Bonzos sort of ruined the atmosphere, and there were too many of those segments.
I liked it. A nice charming comedy. I was a bit irritated when the announcer spoke over the music at the beginning. I didn't mind the live sections about The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band. The only thing that bugged me was when Neil Innes spoke of overhearing The Beatles and then returning to play 'My Brother Makes The Noises For The Talkies'. As there was an implication that the Bonzos were just playing silly uneventful antique music. Then again Innes did say on a Radio 1 documentary that Madness were better than The Bonzos since the music was as equally important to the comedy. But all in all it was a good opener and at least nobody can say, "Oh Innes. He was good in The Holy Grail but he's past it now." He was wasted on Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
