It can be heartbreaking to lose your favourite pen (mine - a graduation gift from my parents, which like yours had accumulated memories - was stolen in a University library) and difficult to replace.
I replaced my black laquer Montblanc (going by the name of Elegance, if I recall correctly) with a Pelikan - but now that I have seen your beautifully simple Namiki, I may have to lose my Pelikan ...
