      Allow me to introduce myself. I am someone that has enjoyed the use of fountain pens since grade school, which was in the 1950's. In the past year I began to collect fountain pens, mainly by purchasing from ebay and then from Pentrace sellers. I went overboard a bit at first but I am now more restrained in my purchasing. I enjoy the variety of different pens more so than just having and using one pen. I guess for that reason I have too many pens to keep them all inked and in use at the same time.

      I just recently came across this message board. I have been reading and posting to Pentrace for about a year now. I can't really say that I have a favorite pen, but I am partial to the Sheaffers of the 50's. The snorkels especially.

      I like the name of this site and hope to be able to make a contribution now and then.
