I can't speak to the exact provenance of the Breguet Writing Instruments, but I think the issue is probably not as primary as the question of the quality of the pens themselves (which, as I mentioned to Chris above, doesn't mean that it's not of interest.) I would have a look at the pen especially if you're a fan of Breguet watches and like a larger diameter, sterling silver pen with good quality guilloche work- there are of course other strong candidates in the field but the Breguet brings a lot to the table. The only caveat is that it really is quite a massive pen, and if you're looking for a daily user, it's worth considering whether such a heavy pen is up your alley or if you'll need something a little less hefty.
