I have a mont blanc 149 with W. Germany engraved on the cap's gold band. I bought it in the early '90s.
Does anyone know when it might have been produced?

From the information in the article I determined that my 149 is from about '90.
It's worked flawlessly for 10 years and is wonderful pen.
